This episode of the program "The Most Beautiful Heart" takes the audience into a special family of five, showing a close relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law that is better than mother and daughter.
The client is Xiaoyan, a clothing store owner from Chengdu. She has been in love with her boyfriend Ronaldinho since they were students, and they have been in love for more than ten years.
Xiaoyan and Ronaldinho were about to get married. Their parents-in-law worked hard to sell vegetables and bought a second-hand house for them to use as their wedding room, while the old couple rented a house with Ronaldinho's younger brother.

The idea of Xiaoyan participating in the show originated from a phone call: Xiaoyan invited her parents-in-law to celebrate the New Year together in their wedding room, but her mother-in-law said that it was against the rules to go to "other people's houses" during the New Year.
Recalling that her parents-in-law worked hard from dawn to dusk every day just to help Ronaldinho and herself improve their lives, but the old couple didn't even have a "home" to settle down in, Xiaoyan decided to transform the wedding house into a retirement home to give her parents-in-law a home they could return to whenever they wanted!
In order to surprise her parents-in-law, who had never traveled far away, and to buy time to renovate the house, Xiaoyan decided to take her parents-in-law to Beijing to watch the flag raising and climb the Great Wall, so that the old couple who had worked hard all their lives could relax and enjoy themselves.

Problems before transformation
Designer Yu Haoling discovered many problems with the house when surveying the house. The overall overview of the house is: an original 76-square-meter two-bedroom and one-living room. The house is old and seriously aged, and many facilities are outdated. It's terrible and needs to be replaced urgently.
1. Restaurant and balcony: moisture and water leakage, serious damage, posing safety risks 2. Kitchen: Range hood and water pipes are unreasonably arranged, easy to return oil smoke and odor 3. Bedroom: poor lighting, poor privacy; close to the train, loud noise 4. Bathroom: The space is small and needs to be expanded. 5. Roof: The waterproof layer is seriously damaged. 6. The items are messy and there is no storage system.

Renovation plan
The hostess originally wanted to give the two bedrooms to her parents-in-law and younger brother, while she and Xiao Luo went to live with their mother. But the designer wanted the family to be reunited and have a place to live, so he changed the two-bedroom apartment into a three-bedroom apartment.
Waterproof and noise reduction treatment
① The waterproof layer of the roof has been completely updated, and the floor is made of floor tiles with good sealing properties ② Separation of movement and static: Place the movement area on the side adjacent to the train
Furniture, electrical appliances and space have been renovated to allow for use by all ages

Remodeled home
The entire room uses logs as the main material. The warm-toned logs create a warm and comfortable home, improve the temperature of the home and make the home more livable.
Taking into account the preferences of parents, the designer chose white as the base color and the green LSN24304 of the beautiful L&D Corbuqi color series as embellishment, throwing away the old colors and creating a comfortable and elegant living environment.
In order to make the newly renovated new home look less deserted, the designer personally bought flowers and arranged them to create a warm, energetic and comfortable residence.
When designers purchase decoration materials, they base them on practicality and cost-effectiveness. The transparent and bright soundproof windows effectively solve the noise problem caused by being too close to the train tracks. The house lighting fixtures are customized according to the elderly's photosensitivity.
In addition, small details such as storage tables reflect the age-appropriateness of the house renovation, which makes the design of the new home both beautiful and user-friendly.
A lot of cabinets have been added to the kitchen, making full use of the vertical space, which perfectly solves the storage problem of the owner in a small room, making the room tidier and brighter. The beautiful red LSN24301 from the L&D Cobb series perfectly releases the vitality of the kitchen, with a gorgeous but not overflowing pyrotechnic atmosphere.
The designer invited a painter friend to paint the original vegetable basket at home into a picture of "Persimmon" and hang it on the wall of the living room. It not only retains the atmosphere of the old man's life, but also expresses his feelings about it. Best wishes from the family.
The brown and orange colors in the bedroom interior echo the oil paintings, exuding a noble and elegant style.
Since the younger brother likes to study by the window, the designer specially arranged a bright and quiet study area for him near the window. In addition, there is a hidden storage space under the bed, which is very practical and satisfying.
The multi-functional room has a hidden secret. On the one hand, it can be used as a gym for the father, where he can run and exercise. On the other hand, it can also be used as the bedroom of Xiaoyan and Xiao Luo. When the couple goes home, this place can be turned into a resting place in a second.
The windows shared by the bathroom and bedroom are made of intelligent glass. You can switch between blurry and clear with the touch of a remote control, solving the problem of lighting and privacy being incompatible for the householder.
The beautiful L&D art flower piece LSZ12232B1 is used on the wall of the washbasin. The more you know how to use color blocks, the more artistic you can add to the space.
The bathroom wall uses the beautiful L&D tweed LSN24008B2S-1 with Cobb's red and green products to create a quiet pastoral landscape painting. After a tiring day, come home and be here, wash away your fatigue and enjoy a comfortable leisure time.
The design team not only completed the waterproofing and moisture-proof repair measures on the rooftop, but also cleverly used plant elements such as bamboo, fruits, vegetables, etc. to create a relaxing place for the homeowners to sit and have a drink. When the weather is clear and the weather is clear, it is very interesting to drink tea and chat with your family here.
The floor is made of the beautiful L&D new Bauhaus series - Provence LST15080P, which has good anti-slip and wear-resistant properties to protect family members who are resting and entertaining in the small garden.
Maybe everyone in the family has different living habits, but a good family knows how to give and tolerate each other. Designer Yu Haoling balances the relationship between people and people and things, so that every member of the family can have their own free space.

Q: First time participatingWhat are your biggest feelings about this extremely rapid transformation project? A: My design focuses on residential projects, most of which are large apartments and villas. This time, I have never encountered the small apartments of more than 70 square meters and the corresponding customer groups before. Design serves the people and people's livelihood. Everyone has the right to enjoy a better home life. I am very grateful that this public welfare project provides us with the opportunity to help ordinary people build suitable houses. This is an unshirkable social responsibility for us.
