Upon completion, it will become the largest biomass power station in West Africa.

It is reported that the project is located in Aboiso Province, about 100 kilometers east of Abidjan. It includes two 25MW turbine generators, two boilers, a control building and a reactor. The power station is responsible for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the material storage area. The power generation fuel of the power station is palm leaf straw, which is commonly grown locally. Construction is expected to start at the end of October this year.
